Angie Parr is a Muay Thai fighter and Instructor

Angie works alongside her husband Wayne, (John Wayne) Parr at Boonchu Gym in Burleigh Heads Queensland.

Born in the USA but moved to Gold Coast, Australia over 18 years ago. Angie is a Mum of 3. She is former USA champion and 2x World Champion. Co/Owner & Trainer at Boonchu Gym, Promoter of Amateur Muay Thai fights and CMT Promotion.

As a practitioner and teacher in Muay Thai, it’s no surprise to learn how her influence has changed the lives of many by quite simply being a role model. As a personal trainer and highly proficient in allied fitness concepts such as kettle bells and general fitness programs, Angie is able to provide health and fitness to just about any member of the community.

Angie is a great believer in professional development and has herself undertaken Sport Industry recognised Coaching Qualifications and is currently training in Brazilian jiu Jitsu to add to her list of skill sets.

Angie Parr is concerned with the health and well being of children and adults alike, her influence across the board is one of professionalism and safety for all who train with her and under the Boonchu business structure.
