Alex Kastamonitis is a 6th Dan in Karate and functional self defence coach.

Shihan Alex began his training in Melbourne as a young man over 40 years ago. He has trained many hundreds of students over his career helping so many improve their lives through the study of traditional Karate.

As a security company owner Shihan Alex understands what it takes to ensure the style that is taught actually works in real life, this is why Alex is held in such high regard by his peers and students alike. Alex is the head coach at Yoshin. As a seasoned Karate fighter and instructor, Shihan Alex draws on his vast knowledge to deliver a well rounded and no bull style of martial art. His international experience as a fighter and as a coach further qualifies his ability as he continues to grow and develop his Yoshin Stlye of Karate.
