Terry Gleeson

Terry Gleeson is a 1st Dan in Karate

Sempai Terry Gleeson began his Karate and martial arts interest in 2001. Terry's study tookhim down the path of both Karate and Ju Jitsu. On 11th of November 2004 Terry recieved his Shodan Black Belt under the Renshinkan Budo System and was soon helping other students by teaching under the system.

In December 2021 Terry (under the insistence of his instructors and peers) gained his Shodan Black Belt under the International Sabaki Karate-do Teshinkai. Terry insisted on wearing a wite belt for 3 years in Teshinkai which presented clearly to other students and black belts that it was the development of spirit and personal integrity to the martial arts that drove him on a daily basis.

Sempai Terry is a dedicated Karate-ka and a valuable mentor to others. Teaching others is what he is all about, and why wouldnt it be. Terry is the owner and operator (alongside his wife Judy) of Kip McGrath Education, one in a chain of Education Centres dedicated to the development of children from a secondary schooling level.

Sempai Terry Gleeson is committed to bringing out the best in his students and serves as a valuable member of the instructor body at Teshinkai Karate, Bendigo Mixed Martial Arts.
